For those seeking to understand the benefits that canine physical therapy can offer, you have come to the right place! Thank you for visiting Nautilus Pet Rehabilitation (NPR), located within Coast Veterinary Services in Scotts Valley, a prosperous town located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Canine sports medicine and rehabilitation integrates all facets of medicine such as exercise physiology, orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, nutrition, and more. Like human physical therapy, canine rehabilitation uses the same techniques and modalities to improve mobility, manage pain and restore function, all to enhance your pet’s quality of life. NPR is designed to provide an optimal outcome for recovering from surgery and injury, or simply needing to get fit in a controlled environment. Dr. Sullenberger and her assistants will work closely with you to create a treatment plan suited for your pet’s needs.

Dr. Sullenberger is a certified canine rehabilitation therapist and certified veterinary acupuncturist focused in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She has personally trained and works closely with her veterinary assistants, and has a referral relationship with Dr. Darren Hawks, who is an exceptional veterinarian certified in chiropractics.

NPR is a referral-based center. We value the relationship that you have with your general veterinarian; thus, we encourage you to discuss rehabilitation with your pet’s doctor to determine if rehabilitation is the next step in your pet’s care.
